There’s nothing quite like the relationship between a grandmother and her granddaughter. It’s the unconditional love of a mother without any real pains of making sure you turn into a decent human. Am I right? They take any chance they get to spoil you rotten! While both of my grandmothers were very different in many ways, they both had at least one thing in common… I was their favorite granddaughter… kidding!!! My sister is going to kill me when she reads this. We were both their favorite granddaughters and that’s the “God’s honest truth”, as they would say.
Over the years, they started gifting my sister, my mom and me various heirlooms which included some amazing silver and porcelain fine china. When I was introduced to the Selma Drye home goods line that Kellie Pickler & The Grand Ole Opry collaborated on I was instantly transported to my grandmother’s dining room table for Christmas dinner. Not surprisingly this line was inspired by Kellie’s great-grandmother. These pieces bring warmth to your table, home & heart by combining southern sensibility and style. Here are some awesome photos of a Selma Drye holiday party I attended with some of my favorite girls!
This collection is available exclusively at opry.com and in three brick and mortar locations in Nashville, TN. (which is a city I plan to visit soon)
