PORTLAND IS STUNNING, and this post is going to be significantly different than anything I’ve posted before. I hope everyone is ok with that.
The first thing I noticed was how absolutely yellow a single tree can be… without any sign of green, just a beautiful bright yellow.
On the whole, this trip was a bit out of the norm for me, and apparently I came at the perfect time when the weather had cleared from over a week of rain and it was a steady sunny sixty degrees. So I guess you could say Portland and I were on the same page, and by this I mean beautifully out of our elements. Usually what I do when I’m out of town is check out the food, bar & music scenes, but this trip was all about being out doors, and I loved every minute of it. In New York I do love a good hike upstate but it doesn’t happen as often as I’d like, busy schedules… deadlines… there’s so many things that get in the way.
I’m going to start out by showing you some photo’s I took in Nob Hill while wandering the streets, then we’ll segue into the Bagby hot springs, move on to the Ramona Falls & Mount Hood and end at Cannon Beach.
Portland I’d like to see you again.
Bagby hot springs…
Stopping at a little spot on the way home… sorry I don’t remember the name.
Mt. Hood.. Such a beauty.
Hiking to Ramona Falls.
Ending at Cannon Beach.
Can this be everyday?
