Between our day jobs, our side hustles, and our personal lives, we have so much going on that it can be extremely challenging to unwind at the end of the night. Let’s also not forget how much time we spend on screens and how that affects our physical and mental health. I’ve outlined three rituals that I practice in order to help me fall asleep, stay asleep, and wake up feeling more refreshed.
#1 Plan for at least 7 hours of uninterrupted sleep.
I don’t think most of you realize how important sleep is to your overall health. Usually we focus on diet and exercise, but sleep is just as important. Statistically speaking, a person is more likely to gain, or have trouble losing, weight if they get less than 6 hours of sleep a night.
#2 No phones, computers, or tvs in bed.
All screens emit blue light. Blue light increases alertness, so being exposed to this at night, right before you try to get some shut eye, isn’t ideal. It can disrupt your sleep cycle even after you’ve put your phone away because your body is still reacting to it’s effects. This then results in fatigue during the daytime.
#3 Add OLLY Beauty Sleep to Your Routine.
I’ve been a huge fan of OLLY nutrition for a while now. I’ve used their Undeniable Beauty formula, which is formulated with Biotin, Keratin, and vitamins C & E to support healthy hair, skin, and nails, and seen real results. So it was only natural that I looked to them to aid in regulating my sleep cycle. I added the Beauty Sleep Gummies to my routine and it really helped me fall asleep quickly and wake up feeling refreshed. It contains L-theanine which helps to relax me, and ceramides which help protect your skin’s natural barrier and hydrate you from within. Because these ceramides help lock in moisture, you should see smoother looking skin in as little as 15 days! It works so quickly, I highly recommend!

These are some rituals that I’ve held myself to in order to get better sleep, and to function at a higher level during the day, and they’ve really helped!
