Summer Staples You’ll Have on Repeat

I am all about finding those go-to staples in my wardrobe. Pieces that fit well, look great, and require minimal to no effort or thought. Some retailers for you all to check out are Urban Outfitters, Nasty Gal, Sabo Skirt, Princess Polly Boutique, and Verge Girl. All of these sites are super affordable and have really cute pieces. For this post I’m going to focus on the in-budget staples!

Below are ten of my favorite Summer staples!

I wanted to kick things off with shorts. They’re the most casual, and in my opinion, the easiest to throw on. I also want to say I personally own almost everything I’ve listed out for you (shorts and beyond), so I know from my personal experience how comfortable and easy all these pieces are.

I love a pair of black denim cut-offs, they instantly dress up an otherwise v casual outfit.

I am very into this wash, it’s a traditional blue hue with a high waist. The cuffed hem makes it a bit more polished than a cut-off.

I definitely have a sweet spot for something new and different. These patchwork shorts also give me an early 90’s vibe, which is near and dear to my heart.

You can’t go wrong with these. They’re great for literally EVERY occasion. Dress them up with a flirty top, or wear them to the beach over your swimsuit.

I know what you’re probably thinking… joggers in the summertime?? But, in all honesty the AC in the house can get frigid. Also, sometimes I just want the comfort of being wrapped in something cozy. Definitely pair this with the burnout cropped tee (previous item scroll up).

Ok… love, love, love. It also comes in creme in case you aren’t a pink girl. I love knit sets because they instantly look and feel put together, yet they’re so comfortable. Wear anywhere!

My last three staples are dresses. This first one I love for it’s versatility, it’s very “throw on to go to the farmer’s market”, or “meeting the parents” or “grab a happy hour cocktail” in. Don’t you agree?

I’ve had my eye on a version of this creme romper for a year now. I first saw it on a blogger, which prompted me to track it down on the Free People website (sold out of course), and then finally snagged it from Princess Polly Boutique, so stoked to wear this all Summer!
